(Scene: the Griffin residence, Sandi's room. Sandi is digging through one of her closets, throwing seemingly random clothes into a HUGE pile on the floor. The door opens, and the next garment out hits the intruder in the face. Said garment happens to be a pair of those short purple overalls from season 1, and said intruder happens to be her little brother, Chris.)
Chris: (muffled by the overalls) HEY! Those buckle thingies hurt!
(Chris pulls the overalls off of his head and tosses them onto the pile of clothes. Sandi turns around and glares at him.)
Sandi: How many times do I have to tell you to knock before you come in here?
Chris: Until you figure out we're never going to listen. Duh.
Sandi: What you do want, anyway?
Chris: A wardrobe discard. Sam and I are making a movie. Part of it has a ghost on fire. We stopped fighting long enough to agree we wanted actual fire, and figure the best way to get it the right size is to burn clothes. Got anything you can lend to the cause?
(Sandi considers, then digs down into the clothes on her floor. Finally coming up with a frilly pink nightgown, she hands it off to Chris and wades out of the pile.)
Sandi: I'll be down in a minute to make sure you don't, like, burn up the living room, or something.
(Scene: Chez Griffin living room, from the video camera's point of view. Music: "Burning Down the House" - Talking Heads [it may be pointless to include this now, but I thought I would anyway]. The pink nightgown has been attatched to a clothesline strecthing across the room. Sam, holding one of those push-button lighters, stands in front of this setup, looking impatient.)
Sam: Can I light this stupid thing already?
Chris: (VO, he's holding the camera) Sandi's gonna come down. I think she's getting a fire extinguisher, and it'd be nice to have one around if things get out of hand.
(True to her word, Sandi walks into the scene, a fire extinguisher in each hand.)
Sandi: (hands one to Sam) You know how to use this thing, right? (he nods) Good.
(This covered, Sandi backs off. Sam lights the nightgown, which probably burns to a crisp WAY too fast for the brothers' purpose. And then the clothesline catches. Sandi and Sam get the fire extinguishers going, and stop the very smoky fire from spreading any further. They manage to get it out completely after a couple of minutes. No furniture is damaged, but there's foam everywhere, soot on the walls, and a pile of ashes where the nightgown had been put up.)
