(Morgendorffer livingroom. Daria and Tom are watching TV)

TV: Building a railroad in the desert can be hard work. Especially for these animals. The rail that broke the camels back. Next on Sick, Sad World.

(Quinn enters from the kitchen. She's carrying a bowl of popcorn)

Daria: Popcorn. Good idea. You want me to make us some?

Tom: Can't say no to that.

Daria: They should be extra good. I got my dad to buy the popcorn with extra fat this time.

Quinn: Extra fat!? Eeeew! Here you take them.

(Quinn hands the bowl to Daria and leaves)

Tom: Please allow me to kiss your feet.

Daria: Sorry no. I'm not ready for kinky sex yet.

(Tom smiles)

Daria: Or for the normal kind.

Tom: Damn.

(Quinn's room. Quinn enters)

Quinn: (to herself) I can't believe I almost ate fat popcorn. I didn't even know you... could... buy... those.

(As realization finally strikes Quinn buries her face in her hands)

(The livingroom)

Tom: Have you ever regretted messing with your sisters mind? I mean do your parents punish you for it?

Daria: I've had a number of family court appearances I could have done without. But regretted it? Never. (pause) Now that you mention it. There was one time I ended having to regret it.

Tom: Please tell.

(Flashback. A Lackluster video rental store in Highland. Jake is staring at a movie poster for "Snapdragon". Daria and Quinn, age 10 and 9 are looking at what movies to rent)

Quinn: Look at this one. Its called "Toys". That sounds like a fun movie.

Daria: Forget it. Dad will newer let you rent that.

Quinn: Why not? Its not illegal for kids to watch.

Daria: Its not a Disney movie. Dad said he would only let us rent Disney movies.

Quinn: (disappointed) Oh.

Daria: I might be able to get dad to let you rent it though. But only if I get something in return.

Quinn: What?

(A moment later. Daria and Quinn walk over to Jake and hands him their cassettes)

Jake: So you've made up your mind girls. And you want to see "Toys" Quinn.

Daria: Its a Disney movie dad.

Jake: And you want "A Nightmare on Elm Street" Daria. Hmmm. This cassette doesn't look....

Quinn: Don't worry dad. Its a Disney movie also.

Jake: Oh. Thats okay then.

(Morgendorffer livingroom in Highland. Daria and Quinn are watching the movie Daria rented. Quinn is looking very scared)

TV Freddy: Fresh meat. How sweet. Come to Freddy.

Quinn: Eeeeep! I can't watch this anymore. (gets up and starts to leave)

Daria: Sweet dreams Quinn. That is unless Freddy comes to see you.

Quinn: Don't say that! (nervous) He wouldn't do that. Would he?

(Daria smirk)

(Daria's room. Daria is lying in her bed. Quinn is lying next to her)

Daria: For the last time. Get out of my bed.

Quinn: No. I'm to scared to sleep alone.

Daria: Then ask mom and dad to sleep in theirs.

Quinn: No way. Dad farts in his sleep.

Daria: I don't care. I told you to get out.

(Daria tries to push Quinn out of the bed. But Quinn is holding on to her)

Daria: Let go of me. Aaaaah.

(Back to present)

Tom: So because you got her so scared...

Daria: I had to spend the night in her arms.

Tom: Ouch.

Daria: It got funnier the next morning when mom came to wake us up and saw that Quinn's bed hadn't been slept in. At first she thought Quinn had run away from home.

(Daria's room. Daria is getting ready for bed. She crawls under her blanket and turns off the light)

Daria: (snicker) Fat popcorn. I wonder if I can use it again sometime.

(The door opens. Quinn enters. She's holding a pillow and is looking very mad)

(Cut to outside the Morgendorffer's house)

Daria: (off camera) Argh! What're you doing? Stop hitting he. AAAAH!
