Tom Sloane had waited for this day for some time now. He had planned carefully. Daria was sly, he had to be very sneaky to do it.... but he had.<BR>

Now, as he led Daria into the room, he felt the good feeling that comes with success. He and Daria walked into the darkened room and...<BR>

"SURPRISE!"<BR>

The lights came up, everyone hopped out, and yelled, just as planned. Tom at first wasn't sure if Daria would like a surprise party for her 19th birthday, but Jane had assured him that she would. It seems she had been right, as Daria wore her trademark smirk. Tom was rather surprised at the guestlist as well, Kevin and Brittany, but not Mack and Jodie, her parents, her sister and her obnoxious fashion club friends, they were all here, Jane had insisted on it. She had also insisted on the toast. Everyone had a glass of 'near-champagne', and were waiting for Tom to give the speach and signal them to drink.<BR>

Tom's speech was short, he saw that Jane and Daria seemed impatient, so he raised his glass, and then drank along with everyone else...<BR>

Everyone else except Daria and Jane. He walked over to them, a little confused.<BR>

"Why didn't you drink?"<BR>
<BR>
"Because we don't like to drink poison." Daria replied, with a smile.<BR>

"What?!"<BR>

Tom began to feel ill. He realized that they weren't kidding, as he looked around, people were grasping their throats, and falling down all around him. He glanced back at Daria.<BR>

"WHY!?"<BR>
<BR>
"Because we hate this town, and we want to go somewhere else. Once we learned how rich you were, the rest of the planning was fairly simple. Daria reached into his pants and removed his wallet. She pulls out his credit card, and hands it to Jane.<BR>
<BR>
"Get online and get us some plane tickets, then we'll start ransacking the house. When we get to the islands, we'll buy another ticket with the cash we find. Someplace with no extradiction laws, of course."<BR>

"I'm on it."<BR>
<BR>
Daria looks at Tom one last time, then gives him a kiss on the lips.<BR>
<BR>
"So long, stupid."<BR>

Tom died with her kiss on his lips, wondering how anyone could be so......... EVIL.<BR>
